USB-IF Makes Waves at Key Global Events

According to Nereus General Manager, Matt Baxter, this year, Nereus successfully managed USB-IF media tours and a multitude of press briefings at major industry events across the globe, including at CES, MWC Barcelona, and Computex in Taipei. With nearly 100 dedicated media briefings conducted, the team leveraged our relationships with top-tier publications and analysts like PCWorld, PC Magazine, Tom’s Hardware, Counterpoint Research and Omdia to amplify our client’s message and promote USB-IF’s leadership in connectivity innovation across global audiences.
CXL Showcased Ready to Deploy Solutions at SC’24

The Nereus team was excited to play a key role in the successful promotion of ready-to-deploy CXL technology-based solutions at the annual Supercomputing event, which attracted over 18,000 attendees to the convention center in Atlanta, GA this year.
Led by Account Manager Elza Wong, the team Nereus managed coordination of the CXL Pavilion, featuring 16 CXL technology-based demonstrations developed by the Consortium’s member companies, including Panmnesia, AMD, Zeropoint Technologies, Intel, Micron Technology, Astera Labs, and many more.
We were also busy planning, organizing, and executing multiple presentations and panels provided by CXL representatives sharing the benefits of CXL technology for AI workloads and the many solutions applications.
PCI-SIG Highlights PCIe Solutions Via a Member Company Product Wall

“My favorite achievement this year was the 2024 PCI-SIG Product Wall at the organization’s US-based DevCon event this past June in Santa Clara, CA,” said Nereus AAE Samantha Bilotta! The MWG Product Wall showcased 34 unique products from 18 different PCI-SIG member companies. It also provided visitors with in-depth information around how the products utilize PCIe technology to solve a variety of challenges across a range of market segments like AI, HPC, Storage, and more.
USB Advertising Digitally Captures Consumer Attention at Leading Industry Events

You might think that when Nereus AE Kevin Gaboury was asked what lived on a loop in his mind this year he would have said something like “Espresso” or “the Summer Olympics,” but you would be wrong. Instead, it was “Is your USB product certified?”
This is largely due to the incredibly successful global advertising campaign he led for USB in 2024. Aimed at educating consumer audiences on the importance of looking for Certified USB Logos when purchasing products, the campaign included online advertisements on Amazon and massive digital displays at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport during CES.
The global effort resulted in more than 250 million (with an “M”) impressions and more than 500,000 visits to the campaign website.
NVM Express Shines at FMS With In-Depth Technical Presentations & Video Interviews

Account Executive Nolan Morgan was thrilled to be a part of the Nereus team managing NVM Express’ annual sponsored speaker track at the FMS: the Future of Memory and Storage 2025 event in Santa Clara, CA.
Nereus worked directly with NVMe technology experts to project manage the presentation track, helping to develop presentation slides that aligned with essential organizational messaging.
Thanks to the team’s hard work, this year’s presentation drew a significantly larger audience compared to previous years — more than 130 attendees! — and continued promotion of presentation video recordings following the event are still resulting in impactful target audience engagement.
OpenFabrics Alliance Event Doubles Attendance at Virtual Workshop
Liz Nardozza, Senior AM for Nereus, was up for the challenge when she was tasked with planning and executing the 2024 OpenFabrics Alliance virtual workshop.
Resulting in a 58% increase from 2023 for live attendees, Nereus’ support of every aspect of the annual event – from presentation scheduling, promotional campaigns, content development, and management of more than 14 sessions over two days – resulted in the cadre of technical experts reaching the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
CXL Consortium’s Inaugural Developers Conference

Rachael Watson, Vice President of Nereus, shared her excitement around CXL Consortium’s inaugural DevCon event which took place this past spring in Santa Clara, CA.
The event was a resounding success with nearly 300 members in attendance and a massive undertaking for the Nereus team working in tandem with VTM Group’s Events and I&A teams to achieve the Consortium’s goals. The conference provided members the unique opportunity to connect with other Consortium members, share their latest developments and learnings, and have their questions answered by CXL technical specialists.
Nereus worked diligently to coordinate and manage onsite more than 26 presentations and several fireside chats. The event also included an exhibition hall and an absolutely packed networking event. This conference set the stage for an annual event that will continue to shed light on the amazing advancements being made using CXL technology.
PCI-SIG Introduces CopprLink Cables via Complex Integrated Campaign
This year, the Nereus team was tasked with rolling out the industry introduction of PCI-SIG’s CopprLink Cables via a two-part integrated communications plan. The PR & marketing campaign included several key engagement tactics: a press release, blog posts, comprehensive social media campaign, talking head videos, and a webinar.
Meghan Zea, Nereus Account Manager, shared, “we were able to reach a really wide audience with this campaign strategy, earning 15,000+ impressions across multiple communications platforms.” The team’s efforts also resulted in more than 30 articles in tier-one industry media outlets, including Tom’s Hardware, ZDNet, and others.
